Description
This simple and striking image of tree branches and leaves is part of my tree and botanical series, this abstract landscape whilst moody and dramatic is balanced by the softness and detail of the leaves.
The detailed tree foliage is in beautiful soft blue tones, contrasted with a black background. the work is of dense foliage, moving outwards to the edges of the tree as the branches and leaves reach upwards and outwards. The composition includes the negative space of the sky around the leaves.
