Hey there!
I’m really excited to say that my rainbow leafy sky abstract has been added to my store!
It’s a beautiful, minimal, semi-abstract leafy artwork, of pretty white foliage set against a rainbow sky. You may remember that I wrote about it as a work in progress, check out my blog post here.
How does the artwork make you feel? I think it reminds me of dreamy lazy days picnicking in a countryside field, lying back, cloud gazing & watching the leaves & grass sway gently in the breeze. Let me know what you think!

Check out my new work in progress!
When creating new work I'm process-led, I work intuitively, I don't have an end-point for the artwork, instead, I experiment and allow the work to develop.
Here, I've layered my photographs & played around with lighting effects to create this rainbow sky and pretty foliage landscape. All done on my iPhone!
I love that it's simple but beautiful.

I look around & there are signs of spring to be seen, dotted throughout the landscape. The daffodils though windswept, are cheerily waving their yellow heads, heralding that Spring won’t be far behind. Buds are starting to appear, showing signs of regrowth and change.

Reflections are curious, they are a version of our reality, of our existence, the same but different, distorted. These reflected landscapes, shadows, and the low golden Winter sunlight and sunsets are present in my current works in progress.
Shadows like reflections, offer an alternative view of our reality. Shadows also remind me of our wider world, our place in the solar system, and our universe. They remind me of our place in something bigger than ourselves.

The rain has subsided but has left pools of liquid and light everywhere, there is a mini lake where there was previously farmland, the paths, and roads have tidemarks of debris and mud. The wind howls, pushes and holds. But the sun shone and warmed our hearts. Until the wind pushed once more. & the rain started again, with a cold bite that hadn’t been there before. With the feel of winter all around, there are glimpses of Spring...

I woke up today to be surrounded by floodwater again. Where I am, we are not within flooding distance of a river, stream or brook, but a field that has taken on water - fast and is now overflowing into the road, drives, and gardens, encroaching on our homes. Tonight I’ll probably make sure we have a go-bag and put any valuables on “higher” ground.
Here, it feels like the earth is reclaiming her land, like our homes might be in the way of an ancient waterway...

I've blended and fused the contest photograph, a waterside landscape, with my own photographs, including my cyanotypes and made use of vignettes created from photographs, to reveal partial and focused views of the waterside landscape.
The painterly effects include rendering the image to resemble the surface of water, sublime impressionist light effects, and rich fauvist colour schemes.

This is the second of my earth-toned abstract landscapes. This digital painting has been transformed from a sculptural collage. When looking at this collection, they remind me of geology, of the composites that the earth is made up of.
I’m not sure if anyone else has used the term to describe art, but I think the word geoscape seems fitting for these artworks.

This month I'm using an old paperback book as a sketchbook, creating an altered book.
This Abstract Landscape digital painting in Earth Colors was created by manipulating a photograph of a collage.
I love the lines of earthy colors, and the gorgeous peach and lilac!

Here's some detail from a collage work in progress. I love the watery and earthy tones & textures.
When using collage, the colors & textures from newspapers & magazines become the "art" materials & color palette.
What's so enjoyable about collage is that the source of the material is readily at hand, allowing the freedom to experiment, transform, & reinvent something that would otherwise be discarded.

The Power of the Triptych

In photography, video, and bookmaking, art is presented in a series, telling a story, using patterns and rhythms.
Wall art can do the same thing, grouping a series of artworks together can tell a bigger story, & have a different impact than that of an individual artwork, or a collection of different pieces.
A triptych is one way of grouping artwork to tell a story and one that's been used throughout history.
Here are my Teal and Magenta Abstract Landscapes as a triptych.
Whilst they work as individual pieces, together they show rhythm and a story of a wider landscape. A landscape that is changing frame by frame before our eyes. The images are similar, have the same color, making them appear sequential and filmic.

Abstract Landscapes Digital Art
How can a smudged line suggest the horizon?

The beauty of abstracts is the suggestion of something, and the wonder of art is that something so simple as a smudged line can suggest the horizon.
In this teal and magenta artwork, its suggests a landscape in a minimal way, through line and color. A line denoting the horizon.
In my last two blog posts about the other two artworks in this triptych, Teal & Magenta Abstract Landscape 1, and Teal & Magenta Abstract Landscape , I wrote about how difficult I find it to write about my art. & that Georgia O'Keeffe's quote about art explains, in part, this difficulty. Art for me is about something beyond words, a recognition of something, an emotional engagement without language.
It’s this engagement that I try and tap into when making art, to guide me to know when an artwork is finished.
Listening to this inner voice can be difficult, especially if the artwork does not look resolved! Or there could be more paint to be added! Or perhaps there’s a different composition to try! Maybe it looks unbalanced and could do with something to balance the composition...
But listening to this inner voice is important. I think that this taps into the ability of art to communicate without words. & it might be something that I may not completely understand at the time. But this inner voice, this communication without words, it’s the essence of art for me, it’s the ability of art to say something is the horizon when it’s simply a smudged line of color.
This to me, is the power of abstract artwork, and the power of abstract landscapes, to communicate a sense of place, of being. Sometimes with nothing but the most minimal of lines.

Are you any good at writing descriptions?

In my last post, featuring the first in my Teal & Magenta Abstract Landscape triptych, I wrote about how difficult I find writing about my artwork. How this is related to Georgia O'Keeffe's quote, that art allows you to communicate what you can’t with words, therefore making putting it into words afterwards very difficult!
I wondered what other people’s experiences are, both as artists and art lovers, how do you find putting into words how you feel about art? How would you describe it?
& if you’re an artist, how do you write your descriptions?
Should writing a description for an artwork online be a different practice than writing an “artist’s statement” about a piece? Or should an artist description simply be factual, an explanation of the artwork or the process?
Should the art collector be the focus of the description? Or should it be aimed at including the appropriate SEO keywords, to be picked up my search engines? Or both?
Or should the art stand alone without words? Art is after all, subjective, we each experience it in our own way. There are common parallels that we draw on but ultimately our experience is individual and unique to us.
I thought I’d write about how I see my Teal and Magenta 2 abstract landscape. How does it differ from your experience?
The colors are what hits me first, the great expanse of teal green and then the smudging hot pink, that becomes fractured, serrated lines, which cross the top left of the work, struggling between linear and nonlinear, like an uncertain pattern.
The main experience for me is the Gestalt experience of the digital painting as a whole, a space filled with pink and teal, in an uncertain and unresolved landscape.
The uncertain lines, and shapes are the source of my working title, "Uncertain Future",
How do you experience the artwork? Any ideas on titles?
What about other art? How do you describe your art or that of others? Do descriptions matter? Or should the individual experience be the most important part?

Abstract Landscapes Digital Art
Abstract landscapes area key part of my art practice.

Abstract landscapes are central to my artwork, they can convey a sense of place, space, and emotion that can be difficult to put into words. I enjoy creative writing and the beauty of language, but I find writing about my artwork very hard! This I think, comes back to Georgia O'Keeffe's quote about art, explaining how art is able to express what we can not in words.
Which is why I find it hard to put into words, the feeling that art communicates, instead my descriptions can be very literal:
"This artwork started as a large collage made from photographic paper and photograms. Post-processing I have digitally edited it and added color,"
that sort of thing!
But, what I want to say, is how the art makes me feel, that I'm drawn to the color, the pink and teal, that this takes over, gives the overall impression of a feeling without words.
Only secondly, am I drawn to the essence of a landscape, the flash of pink sky, cloudscape, or green-blue hilly coastline. This isn't a landscape, but for a moment it takes me to a place that doesn't exist, to a time which is present but also far away, real whilst not real.
Most of all though, it, lets me be, just for a minute.
What does the artwork say to you? Any ideas for titles?
~ My working title is, “Uncertain horizons”!

It’s really hard to imagine how art will look at your walls, 🏠 one way to help with that is lifestyle photos. 📷
I’m trying some of these out! & I'm currently experimenting with how my purple & green painting might look in different settings!
I think it'd look great in a box frame like in this photograph. & I think it looks great with this lovely pale plum wall covering! 💜 💚

This quote from Georgia O'Keeffe covers how I feel about art - but found hard to put into words...

I'm currently immersing myself in all things abstract art!💗🎨 So, I'm reading about abstract art and abstract art techniques.
📖 I found this quote in Debora Stewart’s book, Abstract Art Painting Expressions in Mixed Media, whilst having a looking for inspiration for experimental paint processes, for the next part in my 100 days project. 🖌️
The quote from Georgia O'Keeffe says:
“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way - things I had no words for.”
This quote encapsulates how I feel about abstract art - but ironically had found hard to put into words! ✏️
I think that this quote goes to the essence of all art, that it seems to transcend language & why it has the ability to communicate on a different level, across cultures & time. & I think it’s why it has the ability to move us & engage with us at an emotional level.
I’m trying to find out more about this quote & will post more about it & the brilliant & inspiring artist, Georgia O'Keeffe, soon!

Revisiting my purple & green abstract painting
Ahead of the next stage in my 100 days project, I’m revisiting some of my old artwork...

This is my purple & turquoise abstract painting. 🎨 🖌️
I made it with Liquitex’s wonderful limited muted collection. I fell in love with these colors & really wanted to experiment with them right away! I was working on a large canvas at the time - but I kept working & reworking it & it just wasn’t happening!
I’d used up most of my wonderful paints & I felt annoyed with myself & defeated! 😢
But, I’d had a new canvas delivered, & it was smaller than the large canvas I’d been working on that just wasn't going anywhere!
Upset that my new favorite colors were nearly all gone, I decided to give it one last shot & watered down what I could get out of the tubes! The new canvas was a Loxley A2 canvas & it seemed to be the right size for me at the time! ✔
I hadn’t seen or heard of alcohol ink or fluid painting at the time, but I instinctively poured the watery paints onto the canvas, & used whatever I had to hand to make marks, remove color & to create this abstract landscape.
The painting just seemed to work! So glad I decided to give it another go & not just to give up! 👏🏽🙏🏽

Work in progress - part of the 100 day project
For the 100 day project, I’m sharing works in progress around the theme transform. I’ve broken the project down into smaller projects, over smaller chunks of time. This work in progress, Number 17, was part of the first 30 days of the project.
With this work in progress I’ve experimented with layering my Raspberry Leaf sunset work with my Dandelion Photograph . I’ve added different layers and tried out different photo editing techniques.
Vintage colors, honeycomb & wild flowers
I’m trying to get a vintage vibe with this work, as well as moving towards a more abstract piece. I like the colours and the addition of the geometric layers. The geometric shapes remind me of bees' hexagonal honeycomb, which I think works well with the wildflowers and wild hedgerow subject.

As part of the 100 day project I’m sharing works in progress around the theme transform. Here’s one of those works in progress trees reflected in water.
Relfection & Transformation
A reflection is a transformation of the reflected object, it’s the object but not quite the same.
Becoming more abstract
The movement of the water transforms the tree reflection into fluid abstract lines.
I've added to this transformation by using monochrome.
I like the way semi-abstract nature of the photograph & that the lines are starting to look like an abstract painting or line drawing.
What will it become next?
So where next with this work? Will it stay as a photograph? What about a black and white abstract painting? What do you think? Let me know if you have any ideas!

The 100 Day Project
Days 1 - 8

Here’s a summary of the first 8 days of my 100 day project!

How’s the project going?
I started the The 100 Day Project after the official start time (April 2019), & everyone that started then has now finished!
Whilst you can start the project at any time, this has made it more difficult for me to stay motivated!
Making the work isn’t a problem, it’s sharing the work every day! - it's quite a commitment!
This is where I think doing the project at the same time as everyone else really helps! (Note to self for next year!)
So, I’ve decided to make the project even more of my own by continuing to make new work and posting when I can. I’m not sure whether I’ll catch up with posting all of the work within the 100 days, or whether I’ll let it run over, but I’ll keep on with the project!
First Eight days
This blog post image is a visual summary of my first eight works in progress. I started the project by giving myself an 8-day mini art challenge, around the theme “transform” where I transformed some of my existing artwork.
Below is an example of one of my transformed artworks, where I made a digital drawing of one of my collages. (If you can't see the image, click on the more information button at the bottom of the page.)
Other works included a short video painting, overdrawings and digitally editing my photographs.

The 100 Day Project

One Challenge over, and on to the next one!

I’m taking part in the The 100 Day Project. It’s an online art project that takes place around the world, with people sharing their creativity for 100 days!
It starts in Spring each year, but you can join at any time, so I thought I’d give it a go now, rather than waiting until April Next year!
It’s a big commitment, so the idea is to make works of art that are quick to do, and with resources readily at hand. But that the project is flexible to make it work for you.
I’ve broken my 100 days into 3 stages of 30-day art challenges comprised of 8-day mini art challenges, “pause” days, and “levelling up”, where I develop an idea or artwork further over the next part of the project. That’s the plan anyway! But my plan will be pretty flexible, and the main part is taking part and sharing works in progress!
My first mini 8-day challenge is around the theme “transform” where I transform some of my existing artwork.

Works in Progress: Changing Perspective & Transformations

My work often involves the themes of, perspectives and transformations, as illustrated in these two works in progress.

Transformation and changing perspectives are often key themes of my work. I also enjoy trying new compositions of existing works and collaging them together to create something different or to create new editions for a series of works.
I use photography to document and sketch out ideas. The photographs themselves often become future artworks too!
Both images in this blog post feature collages of previous work, but looked at and reworked in different ways.
The first image uses a change of perspective, with the angle of the top photographs creating an added layer of room-like perspective. The second uses digital collage, using layers, form, and opacity to transform my photographs. I use the layers and form digitally as I would do with analogue methods, playing around with transparent layers in the same way as I might add acetate or translucent paper to a collage.

Introducing my new abstract landscape, Under The Trees Colorful . It’s a digital collage of my landscape photographs, collaged together and inspired by a beautiful sunset, light coming through the trees and sunset shadows coming in through a window! One of those beautiful, “everyday”, “ordinary” moments we often overlook!
This photo collage is part of a series of works, I’ve posted about them here, Work in Progress Red Sky Series and here Red Sky Collection
You can find the series of works in the Under the trees collection.
I make a number of iterations of the same artwork and there’s still more of this series as works in progress! Many artists work in this way, often trying out different variations of the same work, changing colour, composition, materials and style. It’s an important part of my process-led art practice.
This work celebrates those beautiful “ordinary” moments of life, and forms part of my
Garden Sanctuary Forest Bathing collection.

I’ve been taking part in the Abundant Art Show 8 Day Challenge. The challenge is free and each day you get a different challenge.
There are many artists that participate, this year nearly 800, from around the world. During the challenge, there’s lots of opportunity to share work, and view and share other artists work and learn quite a bit along the way!
The challenge is organised by Cory Huff, the The Abundant Artist and author of the book How to Sell Your Art Online.

Artwork from start to finish
I'm starting a series of posts documenting an artwork in progress - from start to finish. This will be a series of blog posts, in the tradition of an art blog (when they first became a thing), as an art journal, that will document the development of my artwork (maybe artworks) in progress.
For an artist like me, where my art is often messy, and often difficult to resolve, this is a daunting prospect, but it's a challenge and something I've been wanting to do for a while, I really wanted to take the time to show my process. It is only my process and part of art practice, so not the only way to make art, and if you're an artist, the best way to make art is to find the way that's right for you!
I'll also be continuing to post about my metallic watercolor artwork, Metallic Watercolours - Work in Progress and creating my other blog posts about finished works and collections, such as my April blog post, April Showers and Sunshine.

Metallic Watercolours

I've been experimenting with watercolours and I love these metallic watercolours. The palette has shiny bronze, copper, silver, gold and rose gold tones and are lovely to use. The rectangularly paint palette themselves have been a source of inspiration too!

Bespoke Mother's Days Gift Ideas: Making your gifts extra special

When buying bespoke gifts, you can either purchase a Personalised gift , or commission a custom order (for commissions and custom orders Contact me here.)
You can also make any gift extra special by including details bespoke for the recipient. One way of doing this, is researching birthstones and birth month flowers.
For example, the Birthstone for March is Aquamarine, and the birth flowers are Daffodils.
For May, the gemstones are Emerald (& sometimes Agate) and the birth flower is Lily of the Valley.
As with the date for mother's day, this might vary across the globe (and has varied over time).
Other ideas might be to choose colours, and gemstones associated with horoscopes or special days of the week. As well as combining those associated with the mother and the child, for example, combining Emerald and Aquamarine for birthdays in May and March.

A quick heads up that Mother's day is on a different date depending on where you live and the date will be slightly different every year.
Dates this year: In the UK, it's very, very soon, on the 31st March 2019. For America, Australia & Canada it's on the 12th of May. Other Mother's day celebrations across the globe are in August and November.
I really love finding out about when and how celebrations happen globally and think it's lovely that Mother's day is celebrated throughout the year around the world.

I wanted to share some more work in progress, it's an abstract photograph of shadows caused by blinds at a window. Much of my work, particularly my photography involves shadows and patterns cast by light. These abstract photographs become abstract landscapes a distorted, altered reality.

Work in progress - Circles of light

The image featured in this blog post is one of my abstract photography projects, work in progress. I intuitively photograph light and shadows, both inside and outside. Something I started to write about in one of my early Blog posts.
The current image was made by photographing pin-holes of light coming through fabric at a window. I'm currently formatting this work and selecting works from my contact sheet, watch my shop for it's arrival!
The image reminds me of the camera obscura phenomenon that pre-dates photography, of an image outside coming through a tiny hole (aperture) and being projected onto the opposite side (& upside down). This phenomenon is described in The Book of Alternative Photographic Processes (Click back to get back to my blog!) by Christopher James as an introduction to photography and experimental photography.

For my February collection , I've selected some of my monochrome works.
The collection includes photograms and abstract landscape photographs in classic black and white.
Black and white framed art makes a great addition to any home or office interior and look amazing as part of a gallery wall.
Combining multiple black and white framed prints creates a confident, stylish, crisp, monochrome aesthetic.
If you like to mix it up and a maximalist, bohemian, moody, dramatic interior is more your style, this collection is great combined with my Dark Botanical Art Collection.
My work featured in this blog post and combined with typography is my Summer Hat Photogram. The strong black and white tones are characteristic of this cameraless photography process when using contemporary processing techniques and materials.

Yes, that's right, you don't have to have a camera to make photographs! Welcome to the wonderful world of cameraless photography!
Here's the quote in the blog post:

This is a short and accessible definition of cameraless photography!
Cameraless photography itself is a collection of, skills and photographic processes. These historical and experimental processes draw heavily on analogue (analog) techniques, but can also embrace digital photographic methods.
Photograms are one form of cameraless photography, where objects are placed directed onto photosenstive paper, check out some of my photograms here: Cameraless Photography collection
Other processes include cyanotypes (sunprints) and chemigrams. By combining these techniques with unusual materials and experimenting you can achieve a variety of colours, textures and mark making (like painting). I often include domestic materials, such as coffee and salt and a mix-up processes.
My work Water Photograph Sepia, Pink was made by creating a contact print negative from a digital photograph (of water) and processed with coffee and salt.
My cameraless photograph featured in this blog post (with the cameraless quotation), Brush 1 Photogram Chemigram Sepia Grey was also made with coffee and salt, and a mix of photogram and chemigram techniques, resulting in an understated, sepia, grey, tonal, wabi-sabi image and a brush that looks as if you could pick it up and start painting with it.

December seems to be rushing past! In the midst of all the holiday preparations, I wanted to take a moment to pause and post some fun images that show a bit more about my process and my art-work in progress.
I love this photograph of a little bird, a Blue Tit, in the snow, I took it on the 10th December last year (so around this time last year!).
The landscape was white, the air was cold and the trees were covered in thick layers of snow. I noticed this little bird in the trees, getting closer and closer. It was a joy to watch. I have a few photos of him in different poses as he moved towards me, it looks a little as if he's doing a photo shoot!
Photography is core to my art, & I try and photograph whenever I can. I see my photographs as drawings or sketches, very much "Drawing with light". My camera and contact sheets are similar to keeping a sketchbook or art journal. Sometimes the image is the start, or glimmer of an idea, other photographs stand alone and work as they are, such as with Holly Tree Sunset, or I might change the colour, as with Holly Tree Sunset, Silvertone, or create a collage, such as with Holly Tree Sunset, Abstract or Red Sky at Night.
I try to take photographs as I notice things as I go about my day. When taking a photograph I'm often trying to capture the essence of a feeling or idea, light, colour or composition. I photograph with whatever camera I have at hand at that time, my favourite compact digital camera is currently out of action, so often I'll photograph with my phone or ipad. I'll also use my digital SLR or home-made pin-hole cameras, but these take a little time to set up - and by then the moment may have already passed!

Christmas Shipping Deadlines 2018

When should I order in time for Christmas? If you're ordering gifts or items that you'd like for Christmas, here's a handy guide and calendar, (click back to back to my blog!) Christmas Shipping Dates.
In summary, the guide says to order domestic deliveries by "5:00 PM Eastern Time on December 12th (Ground Shipments) or 11:59 PM Eastern Time on December 17th (Overnight Shipments)" and for "international orders no later than 5:00 PM (Eastern U.S. Time) on December 2nd."
It also has a handy explanation of whether your order will be Domestic or international, your items will be printed and delivered from the production centre nearest your delivery address.
For international orders it's also worth checking whether any custom or import taxes apply to some of your items (as this can be an additional cost for you and sometimes it can also slow down delivery).

Blinds move - Ultraviolet

The work featured in the blog post is a collage of my Ultra violet, Abstract, Blinds, and is part of Abstract Photography, Blinds series, that makes use of patterns of light, curves and movement.

Blinds Move - Abstract Photography Series
November 2018
Shadows and light are a recurring feature in my work. Another is trying to translate my 3-D work into a 2-D digital format (& vice versa).
My Abstract Photography, Blinds series, uses both of these features. I used procreate for the iPad to digitally manipulate photographs of patterns of light created by blinds at a window. I tried to employ similar techniques as I do with my paper sculptures, folding and rolling, to transform a flat rectangular shape to create curves and movement. Here are three works from this ongoing series.

Abundance collection: The Art Works - Neon Sweep

Introducing my surreal abstract landscape Neon Sweep work, part of my Abundance collection.
This work and my print and stripes abstract are part of my paper sculpture and photography series. They were created by photographing my hand printed paper sculptures. I wanted to create new works by incorporating the shadows and patterns of light. I digitally manipulated the image to add the neon colour and enhance the patina from the sculpture and the shadow motif.

Abundance collection: The Art Works - Red Sky at Night

Introducing my Red Sky at Night work, part of my Abundance collection.
There's a saying, "Red sky at night, shepherd's delight", meaning that a red sky at night will precede beautiful weather the following day. The inspiration for this image came from the red shadows from a window being cast by the setting sun. From this image, I created a digital collage, using the window frame as the background and overlaying it with my photographs of trees and digitally manipulating the colours.
This contemporary abstract landscape would suit all home decor styles and is very well suited to a botanical, bohemian, boho interior design. You can select the size and medium, including, Art prints, Framed prints, Canvas or as (my favourite) Metal prints.

Intoducing my Abundance collection

Introducing my Abundance collection, a selection of abstract landscapes and tree art.
These photographic landscape works are rich in colour, with warm Autumnal tones, reds, pinks, oranges, moving to grey, black and tonal works. They reflect this time of year, Autumn moving into Winter and feature leaves and foliage as well as starker, leafless Winter branches.

Rose tinted Tree Art

Autumn Additions
September 2018
Check out these new additions! Here are two new editions to my tree art prints. These editions were initially made by accident whilst preparing my blog posts for the Abundant Art Show!
It's nearing the end of September, and it seems fitting that the sepia and rose foliage of these works have an Autumnal feel, just as the leaves are turning from green to warm Autumnal hues and carpeting the ground.

Day 5: Take a rest! (relax or catch up!)
It’s great to see a rest day scheduled into a challenge. Taking time to re-charge, rest (or catch up) is really important.
Nurturing ourselves is often overlooked, we are not robots! In her book, “The Artist's Way”, Julia Cameron, highlights the importance of nurturing ourselves and having fun, and going on a regular “artist date”!
For my day 5, I did of a bit of everything, catching up, resting and an artist date!

Day 4: Share some work in progress my other artists participating in the Abundant Art Show.
I love sharing and promoting work by other artists and creatives. Finding out about other artists and their process has been a brilliant part of the Abundant Art Show. I’ve made a Pinterest board about the show and I’ve shared some amazing work by other artists on there, take a look and let me know what you think!

Sketchbook work! More from my sketchbook work. Art can be messy, silly and fun! I try to do something creative everyday, sometimes its photographs, sometimes digital work, sometimes collage, sometimes paint! There doesn’t have to be an end point, and for me that makes it more interesting!

Challenge from day 2! Share some work in progress!
My art is usually messy! It’s intuitive and process led, I like to experiment with materials, colour and textures. I’m not sure where this work is going yet, but it was fun playing with vibrant paint!

This is a contact sheet of photographs of shadows and light patterns. I like how the light changes and transforms spaces and objects over the day. Contact sheets, help to review the images and decide how to develop them further.
Sometimes I use the contact sheets for the finished work too!
